Birimingham Silver Antique Jewellery: See You at Camberwell tomorrow ..It looks like it will be a nice day!

Hi All. This is a range of Jewellery I will be selling at Camberwell Market On Sunday 21st August .

 This is a Lovely Birmingham Silver Brooch .(hallmarked with anchor for Birmingham) All of these Brooches are from around 1908 to 1920.

A metal on a chain and vest case in this shoot .Vestas are good worn as a locket on a long chain and a great size for those small school photos we get from the kids once a year. They were originally used by men to store there matches .

This is a nice very weighty Sterling Silver Handmade Cuff.

The next photos are of Rings that are left over shop stock .Never been worn  heavy rings. Marcisite, Silver and 9ct Gold ,All much cheaper than there shop pricing.

Large Marcisite and Onyx Ring .Over 1" in lenght.

9ct Gold and Sterling Silver Ring .Handmade in Isreial. The filigree work is a beautiful detail.

Another Israeli Ring. Quite wide with a spinning center of 9ct Yellow Gold.

 These vases are a new find for me. I loved them all together. All pe-loved .All priced for $12 to $24 ...

 The Orange and the green are beauties!

 This Spikey set is  fab 1960s .Very Joan from mad men. This is one set that did?dose belong to me, beware is will not go cheep. Its just too Good ..Price to be decided! (Note to self: do one entire blog entry on the lovely Joan. I have such a girl/woman crush on this character.)

 Some nice assorted beads ! some glass some plastic some long some short...

 This is some old shop stock..never worn! but lovely special pieces 9crt Gold and Sterling Silver.

 The Marcisite is special ...Not really something that should be at the market. Quite pricey ,but heavily discounted . Am pricing some of the Birmingham Sterling antique pieces at the moment ..More photos on this blog to follow. Hi People after many years of establishing a retail Jewellery Business...I sold it ....ummummmumm..what is a person to do...Start an on line Business of course...so here goes this is going to be my blog to go with my lovely collection of vintage jewels I will be selling on Etsy (when I can work out how to use it) ... Lets add some photos dont you think .....?? I might go back through the archives and come up with some of the great stuff that I have had and some, still have ..ENJOY 

 Some of my favorites here ..beautiful Birmingham  Silver and these are more like antique than vintage..All hallmarked with the Birmingham Anchor symbol around the time of WW1 ..I believe the horse shoe represented hope  ... would have been needed at that time...

 This Lovely big Horse Shoe is now in my personal collection ....

 Look and weep ..its all mine ...inst it just lovely......!

 A very bad shoot of some very nice brooches ...these always proved to be a great style ..Made in Spain called Damasque (spelling?) very strong brass base with some beautiful gold plating with filigree work over the top , red and Black enamel feature...I think due to the fact that they have a traditional Spanish feel to them ...They always have a old gold look and age well...will be trying to hunt you up some more of these...

 Another bad shoot of a great subject   ....this is RuPaul named due to his obvious similarity to a stunning drag Queen ...irony a fish named after a Drag queen...getit..

Yours truly in some of my Birmingham Collection....the second more shiny cuff is new ..I love these Buckle style bangles..Hint. If you are considering buying one on the internet the antique ones are often quite small ,make sure you have a good idea of the size of the wrist in question..

 Now that is Vintage .....HI dad!!!(hes going to kill me)...

 Some of the lovely beads I make ...I just like them ...Hopefully will get time to make some more..

 Flower power   .....Now what can I say about these beauties they are the anti-sis of my usual style but I wear them and love them...cheesy, funny, colorful . I have seen and sold a few lately that I think are not old but a newer repo make ...these can be easy distinguished by there very clean new looking enamel and the sparkly plastic stones in the center.   

 this green one I think is new...but the white with the spot is an old one...of course this is just my opinion .

 OH no dont cry ..my lovely chandelier in my old shop ....I do love it and it will always be mine ..in my heart. as long it is still there when I am an old lady I will be happy..
